MULTIPLE ROUNDS vs 1 SURGERY There are usually a few reasons that a surgeon will recommend multiple rounds. Most commonly: patient safety, limitations of hip expansion with fat transfer, operating time, etc.. This case involved 2 rounds. Round 1: correction of fibrosis and BBL irregularities from another surgeon. This stage included revision HD liposculpture + round 2 BBL for asymmetry correction. Round 2: preservation rib waist remodeling for curved spine / uneven hips The reason we staged this case is because minimally invasive ultrasound guided waist remodeling was not available at the time of the first surgery. RATIOS VERSUS SIZE The debate that constantly comes up is buttocks size versus ratio. The hallmark of a 'big' or a 'natural' BBL is if it fits the frame. Most of the time the buttocks can look 'too big' if the ratios are off, meaning the thighs and torso have to match the BBL.
