What Is a Skin Tightening Procedure?
Renuvion is a revolutionary technique that can tighten loose skin without surgery. The procedure involves releasing helium gas and radiofrequency just under the skin to create a stream of energy called plasma. The plasma generates heat to contract the skin while the helium gas cools the skin. This heating and cooling effect contracts the tissues underneath the skin to tighten the treatment area.
Renuvion takes place under general anesthesia. Dr. Bedi will create a small incision near the treatment area to insert the device and then start the skin tightening process once the device is in place.
Since Renuvion is a minimally invasive procedure, patients can expect to go home on the same day as their treatment and have a short recovery period.
