Monekka Thomas, MSN, APRN, NP-C, Aesthetic Master Injector
Monekka Thomas is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, that was born in Gainesville, FL and graduated from Santa Fe College in 2006 with her associate degree. She moved to Tampa in 2006, where she transitioned from CNA, LPN and then RN after completing her Associate of Nursing degree at St. Petersburg College. She went on to complete her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing and minor and public health at the University of South Florida. Monekka proudly cared for our nation’s veterans as an RN for 12 years, while she completed her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Florida in 2017. Monekka is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) with a primary care, urgent care, pain management, functional medicine, and aesthetic background. Prior to returning to her love for aesthetics (“happy medicine”), she helped our nation fight our COVID pandemic by serving on the frontline.
Monekka has advanced training and experience on non-surgical techniques for facial harmonization by enhancing natural features with the use of various injectables. She also has experience using multiple modalities for anti-aging therapies, such as the use of various lasers, skin care, skin rejuvenation, non-surgical BBL, PDO threads and lipo dissolve injections.
Monekka has a strong passion for aesthetics medicine and continues to enhance her skills and remaining up to date with the latest and most advanced techniques and attending courses throughout the year. She approaches each patient with a customized treatment plan and is a strong advocate for patient education and optimizing oneself. She believes if patients are educated on all aspects of their treatment plan, they can make a better educated decision regarding their health, lifestyle, and treatment plan. Which will allow her the opportunity to provide results that will not only optimize her patients but provide naturally enhanced results. Her personal aesthetic philosophy stems from helping people feel amazing in their own skin. “When we feel and look our best, we project the best version of ourselves into every facet of our lives.”
